The high waist is great in these shorts and the inseam is perfect for us tall ladies. I will add I normally wear a Medium in JB and that’s what I purchased… and they fit, perfectly snug. If you prefer a more roomy fit I’d recommend sizing up. They don’t have as much stretch as most JB do imo:)
